Summer Break- News at the Nest

Just giving you girls a little update on what's going on here at Ravens Nest and, sadly, the news in that regard is that we have officially hit my busy season (I know, all my seasons are fairly busy, and posts have been infrequent at best for some time now.) I'm not going to say that posts will stop all together for the summer but, as I've gotten a summer job that promises to keep me away from internet access on a regular basis, lets just say it might be awhile. I have no idea when/if I will even have time to cap during this time. So, for now, I must wish you a good summer and hope to make a glorious return in the fall. See you all then :).

The Fruit of his Labors

Recently at the Haven there has been a post going around on the lines of "where did all these caption artists start?" Well, we all got to posting our first captions. I had to take quite a bit of time finding mine, as I had hidden it away for awhile in a dark little corner of my computer where, I hoped, no one would find it... that is, until the "remastering our first captions" idea came up. As such, here is the first caption I ever made, along with the new re-vamped version. Hope you like it :)

Rumors of my Death...

...have been greatly exaggerated. 

Well... I'm not entirely sure how to go about this, but the first thing I want to say is that I am deeply sorry for disappearing without a word, to both the fans of my captions and my friends from the haven. I won't bore you with the reasons I vanished, save to say that real life attacked on all fronts and I found myself unable to caption for a time. By the time I finally got my head above water again, I found that my inspiration had left me and all the caps I tried to make turned out, quite frankly, to be junk.

Sadly, I can't promise that this will be a “Immediately back to making captions at the same rate as before” return. In fact I can't even promise that I will be fully back for a while yet, as my computer is, as we speak, making a funny whirring noise that can't possibly be good. All I can promise is that, if there are still people out there that enjoy my captions and, for my friends at the haven, desire my return, I will do my utmost to make a full return to the world of tg captions (assuming that my fickle inspiration doesn’t decide to go chasing butterflies again lol). 

*Side note- repayment of the massive cap-debt I still have on the haven is currently my number 1 priority
